Sterilising dummies

I think there have been previous threads on the same, but i have a few specific questions.
I am trialling a dummy for our EBF 2 week old and Im not sure we will continue with them for the usual reasons

We bought 2 tommy tippy closer to nature dummies, I also have some Medela microwave sterlising bags. After one sterlisation One of the dummies has water trapped inside it and I'm tempted to dump it-

Is that normal?
Should I be using a different method?
Are there more appropriate dummies to use for the bags?

Our dummies always end up with water in them. Squeeze the teat and it will come out. We sterilise ours with bottles in electric steriliser. We use mam dummies and bottles which can also be self sterilised in the microwave (the dummies come in a little box you put water in) which works well too.

No need to sterilise dummies, just wash with hot soapy water. The reason teats and bottles have to be sterilised is that there can be some pretty nasty bacteria in bought infant milk and of course, milk is an ideal place for bacteria to grow, not bm though

We sterilise ours - just wash them and chuck them in our electric steriliser with the bottles. No water in them.

I also have the Milton mini steriliser but it's gone yellow inside the sponge bit...

You disinfect the pacifier before using it, and use natural products like you said, how can it be like that? Or have you ever bought a fake product? If you use it and feel any effects, I think you should stop using it. Before buying, learn carefully.
