Yipeee- dd has fallen asleep in her cot for first time ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, just wanted to share with you that I have always had to get dd to sleep in my arms and then carefully put her into the cot, I have been trying to get her into the cot awake for the last couple of weeks and tonight we have success she is fast asleep and did this on her own!!!!!!

I now have back ache from leaning over her cot for the last hour but cant have everything

it will get better best thing you will ever do dont let it slip, tempting tho it will be sometimes!

Oh congratulations! Took me about 6 weeks to get ds to always go to sleep by himself in his cot for daytime naps (was strangely less difficult for nights). Hated the period of trying to get him to do it. Well done. How old is dd?
