ok can't get anyone to take this seriously as other children don't seem to sleep but ds is 8 mo and he sleeps for about 15-18 hours a day, 13 of those are through the night...

I know everyone is now thinking what are you complaining about you must get loads done around the house etc/stop worrying but I am worrying a little... how much sleep should a baby of his age be having? he can only last 2-3 hours max before needing a nap - if I wake him early from a nap he can't last as long till next sleep, he has daytime sleep in 3 naps

should I be worried or pull myself together and enjoy the free time???

both mine were like this......i was wary of telling other mums as they would think, either you are lying, or being smug!!

i think i just have really lazy children !! they love their beds, as does their mum!! LOL

use to time to do stuff that needs doing , so when he is awake, you can really enjoy him..!

he'll sleep when he needs, feed when he needs and let you know if he is unhappy...

if he is eating / drinking enough and meeting his milestones, i wouldn;t worry !

Nothing to worry about imo. All 3 of my dc have slept extremely well. ds2 is now 3.6 and still has 12 hours at night and 2 hours in the day if he can get away with it .
Make the most of it and enjoy gloating. I certainly do
