DS is 6 months, EBF. He's never been a great sleeper- has only just started sleeping independently and wakes every 2 hours. Won't go to sleep unless fed to sleep.

Pattern looks like this;

6.45am up for the day. 8.30-10 nap 12-1 nap 3-4.30 nap 7.30 bed (wake ups at 10.30, 1.30, 3.30, 5- quick feed and straight back off).

Recently, as in this week, he's stopped waking at 6.45 and just gone straight through (with a feed at 7am) until 9.30, skipping morning nap. As a result, or as well he is now NOT going down at 7.30- he has been awake, and not sleepy or grumpy until 10pm.

Do I need to remove one of the naps and deliberately get him up at 7?

Advice please.

Just give him a later bedtime? I would much rather have a child sleeping until 9am and bed 9pm than wake 6am
