My three year old is a master of conversation when it's bed time! We generally read her 2/3 stories but then when it's time to go to sleep she uses every excuse in the book to get us back and fore her bedroom to delay her having to go to sleep, it goes something like this;
I need the toilet
I need a drink
It's too dark
I'm scared
I'm hungry
Then me or daddy get annoyed and tell her we're not coming back into her room again and that she has to go to sleep but I always feel guilty so was just wondering what everyone else does? Ignore or entertain?

Don't fuel the fire.
Ignore.
