DD1 (who's 4) and DD2 (1) are having trouble with getting to sleep.
DD1 used to sleep fine in her own bed, but now will only sleep if either DH or me are in the bed, and DD2 has always coslept but won't fall asleep alone. So we now have two kids overtired and over excited who won't sleep alone.
Routine for DD1 is story, song, sometimes massage and then bed (in theory) Most nights that's just the beginning as she then comes out of bed a million times and finally falls asleep in our bed (usually 2 hours after we started getting her ready for bed)
We don't yet have a routine for DD2 as DD1 takes so long to settle but I would like for her to start sleeping in her own bed.
Ideally I'd like them both to go to sleep at the same time, in the same bedroom (and preferably without this jack in the box routine we have at the moment)
Has anyone got tips we could try? Thanks
