DD is only just over 10 months now but is tending to have only one nap at nursery three days a week (she still has two at home the rest of the week). I think we might need to move towards only one nap as a general regime in a month or two's time.
How should I aim make this transition? Her current 'good day' involves waking between 6-7 (lately more like 7 ), having a 40 mins nap around 10 and another longer nap around 1 (to 2.45) pm. Just lately she is not quite so tired at 10 so is tending to take that nap a little later.
So, should I be aiming to cut short the morning nap to establish the longer later nap as her only sleep, or should I follow the lead in pushing back her morning nap to 11 and later, let her have longer, and hope this sees her through?
Any advice?
