why has dd suddenly stopped sleeping thru???

My dd is nearly 10weeks and and use to sleep from 9-6.30.
All of a sudden one nite she woke up at one and will now not sleep thru so i have to do one nite feed at least any suggestion as to why this would happen????

THey have many growth spurts during the first 18 months. This is probably why.

I have to say, you have been pretty lucky that she has slept through so early on, and what she is doing now is not unusual at all for babies to do.

You could try increasing her feeds during the day to make sure she gets her calories during daylight hours and not want to make up for it at night.

Could be a growth spurt - I think it's unusual to settle into one sleeping pattern so early on anyway. She may drop the night feed again soon or may need it for some time...

dd3 did this for a few months then suddenly started sleeping through

I know im prob excpecting to much so early but Had got use to not having to gt up in the nite and i am now exhausted!!!

Happened to me at 11 weeks, by 12 weeks she was sleeping through again. Fingers crossed.

youngmum21 - my ds is 9 weeks and has just started doing exactly the same. No consolation to you of course but you're not on your own! its annoying isn't it after you've been able to (smugly?!) tell everyone your baby sleeps thru the night.. ah well!

well it been but 2 weeks now that she hasnt gone thru i think she managed one nite and thats it!!!
