Reintroduce early am feed for 8mo?

8mo currently waking at 6am. Usually wakes twice in night (1ish and 4ish), but easy to resettle with dummy. I want/need, for various reasons, him to sleep a bit later in the morning - until 6.30/45.

He recently stopped 'asking' for a feed around 3-5am (can settle with dummy instead), but I'm wondering whether if I fed him when he woke up then he'd sleep later? Or is that a step-back in terms of working towards properly sleeping through?

He's bf (4 feeds during day) and enthusiastically taken to solids and on 3 meals a day.

Ps I feel your pain... My 11 month old is awake at 5.30am every single day.

In case anyone else is in the same position - I did re-introduce the night feed (around 4am) and it has made him sleep in later! At least, he still wakes up around 6am, but after a quick dummy-plug has been going back to sleep until 7.30ish. Hurrah! I feel far more human.
