Hi I've a newborn 6 weeks old but she was born 5 weeks early prem, she was kept in due to feeding, all is well now.

Alls she does though is sleep she will wake up screaming for a bottle only take between 2-4 oz then be back asleep until her next feed!!! I'm worried that this isn't normal in a first time mum and obviously worrying about everything!!! She is putting on weight and she is over her birth weight

Hello.

That sounds kind of normal. If she's putting on weight, she's obviously waking up enough to get the nutrition she needs. But, given that she's had a difficult start, it's quite understandable that you'd be worried. Call your Health Visitor tomorrow.

Sounds pretty normal but speak to your HV who can reassure you.
I have a two & 1/2 week old sleeping on my boob at the moment, everytime I think he's finished and try to move him off he opens one eye and starts sucking furiously.
Sleep, eat, poo is pretty much the routine at this point.
