How do we stop the 4am wakeups?!

My DD is 15 months old and for the past couple of weeks has been waking up at anywhere between 3.30 and 4.30am. I cannot get her to go back to sleep no matter what I try. I've tried milk, water, cuddles, shushing, and just leaving her. Nothing seems to work. If I leave her she just screams and screams for ages and won't stop. Ive tried checking she's not too cold (had the heading on a little warmer last night), tried experimenting with naps during the day (giving her more or less daytime sleep). She also has a blackout blind and it's not even slightly light when she first wakes!
Any other ideas? Did anyone elses little one go through this and then go back to waking at a more reasonable hour? I'm feeling a little broken and bleary eyed at work!

Is she getting molars through? Mine always woke early when teething - settled down again once finished teething.

Insane, yes she is! One has popped through, still waiting for the others. This is a relief to hear, thank you so much! Fingers crossed.

Mine got his at 14mo and he was waking for the day at 5am for about 2/3 weeks, so don't panic just yet! I think by that time they have had the majority of night sleep and if teeth are slightly uncomfortable it is harder to settle back down.

Calpol then?

My 11month old has started waking up at 4am it is so fucking annoying! Nothing to do with teeth I think it's the lighter mornings! I have the blind man come to measure up tomorrow 😬

Reading with interest ... I've just realised we had a 4.30am phase just before first 2 teeth came through and then back to normal and now approx 4 weeks later we've started with 4.30am wakes ups again. The top teeth are looking like they are coming through so this could be the case for us.

I'm happy to know a possible reason for the early starts but now dreading every tooth coming through if this will continue!
