Replicating sleep conditions

DS sleeps really well in his carrycot in the conservatory (wrapped in a blanket of course) and can go for over an hour, sometimes 2. In his room he manages 30mins tops. I think it's because the carrycot makes him feel enclosed/secure so when he rouses from a sleep cycle he isn't tempted to wake up & look around; is there anyway to replicate this feeling in a cot? He's 3m so about to outgrow his bed nest.
