Sleepy time

I'm really struggling these past couple of weeks getting back to sleep after my 6 week olds night feeds
Last night he woke at 1.15 and luckily was back asleep by 2.15. However, I was still wide awake at 5.30 as I just couldn't drop back off to sleep!
Everything was running through my mind, from the shopping list to what I was going to wear the next day. Any tips to help me settle back to sleep quickly?

We'll pop it over there now.

Do you check your phone while you're feeding? I've stopped doing this and it's helped me get back off to sleep so much easier.

Also do you breast or bottle feed? If bf then lying down and doing a snoozy feed like that helps.

Yeah I do usually sit with my phone in my hand to be honest!
I'm breastfeeding so will try your suggestions thank you!

Definitely have a phone ban! I was addicted to checking my phone every time my baby woke, but realised it was causing insomnia. Since I've stopped looking at it, I've been able to get to sleep much easier.
