my dd is 19 weeks. she goes to bed (usually awake) at about 6.45 after bath, story, bfeed. she has a bottle of formula around 10.30pm but seems to be waking around 1.15 every night. i used to bfeed her at that time, and again at about 5 but for the last few days i have been leaving her. she doesnt cry, just shouts out and babbles a bit. after about 10 to 15 mins she goes back to sleep and wakes again about 3 when i bfeed her.
is it ok to leave her at 1 ish and wait and see or should ibe going to her? i would never leave her if she was crying but she seems to be fine -she's always good at putting herself to sleep - thank goodness for her thumb!!
sorry to waffle but dont know if i'm getting it right! first time mum.......

I am a complete softy about stuff like CC but I think it's fine to leave her if she's happy - in fact it's probably a good thing to get her used to putting herself back to sleep.

Yes - leave her. Children sleep fitfuly and often wake up. By leaving her, she is learning that night time is for sleeping. If she sounded distressed, that would be a different matter. From what you've said, it sounds like she is (and you are) doing fine.
