How and when did people drop a dreamfeed?

DD is 5 1/2 months, and I fairly sure could go without her dreamfeed. I was away overnight recently on a works Xmas bash and she refused all but 30mls from a bottle of ebm from dh at dreamfeed time, but still slept until 630 in the morning. Dh is reluctant to go cold turkey however, as he is convinced this is a one off and she will have us up at antisocial hours if we stop it. What did other people do and how old were your dcs when you stopped?? BTW, she is 19 1/2 lbs and on the 95th centile, so weight gain is not a worry!!

I stopped DS's dreamfeed at 7 months (I think I could and should have done it a month or so earlier tho). I just cut down the amount we gave him by 30 mls every 3 or 4 nights until it was down to 60 mls then stopped altogether. he was fine, didn't start waking earlier or during the night.

Still doing it at 10.5 months here! Ds2 is tiny (17.5lbs) so wakes up too early without it!

I stopped DS's at about three months - but I am formula feeding so it was easier to see how much he was having. I cut it down by 30mls every two days and upped his daytime feeds by the same amount so he was still having the same quantity over 24 hours. So after a week or so he only had 30mls in his dream feed and then we just dropped it altogether. Strangely since then he's actually woken up later in the mornings - maybe he didn't like having his sleep interrupted!

Also still doing it at 7 1/2 months - DD quite little though only 16lbs - she even woke for a feed at 4am this morning after 10pm bottle -5 ozs each time. This is rare though, she usaulaaly takes 8 ozs at 10:30pmish and is fine till about 8am.
