Hey everyone.

At my wits end. 10 month old baby still up 5 + times a night and Bing a real fucker to get to sleep.

She is fed, dry, comfortable, yet still screaming her head off. Is fine the second I walk in her room.

Her dad is about as useful as a chocolate tea pot with her in the evenings and at night and I'm at my wits end.

What can I do?

We Co slept as she only settled next to me. Saved the repeated getting ups.

She's worse if I put her in my bed. Thinks it's play yin and sits smacking/scratching me for attention

I did controlled crying with DD at 10 months. Took 9 long, hard days to get her to go to bed, but she didn't actually sleep through til just after her 3rd birthday. Couldn't let her cry too much during the night, as I had an older child to think about.

Oh power that's traumatic. That was my if all else fails (that and bf). Grrr.

I don't have any answers, sorry. Just solidarity. 10 month old here too. 3rd waking since bedtime and they'll be plenty more to come.
DH does his best but ds does just tend to scream until I take him. Our plan for this week is for dh to settle him at bedtime after a bf downstairs. Ds cried a bit the first night but much less than i thought, tonight not at all. Hes woken but settled with a quick cuddle and a few slurps from a bottle so far. I'm going to stop feeding him back to sleep after 11pm, once he's settling for dh. Google jay Gordon method. Hoping he'll wake less as no booby so hopefullying less worth his while!
Teething and a cold are our main issues, plus learning to crawl, pull up and cruise all in the last few weeks. There's a big developmental leap that finishes about now too.
I find coffee helps. As does wine.

Have the cot in your bedroom until she's able to sleep through?

wine coffee is much needed.

It does end doesn't it? (I have a 6 year old too but he was like an angel sent from heaven)

Honestly losing my mind.

FATE it's out of the question. Believe it or not this is an improvement from when she used to sleep in our room! My partners alarm goes off at 5am and she's such a light sleeper. Any slight noise wakes her up! Plus I feel like I need some physical distance from her, you know?

Ours is still in our room and whist it's been good sometimes I think we do disturb him. I have tried another room but he'd have to go in with his sister and she needs her sleep for school, he'd wake her.
It does end, really it does. DD was awful and she slept through in the end.. it took 3 years but ignore that bit
