Baby wants to be touched while falling asleep

Sigh ... another night where I need to stand and hold my hand on my beautiful baby boy to just get him to settle and sleep. Seems he really loves the human contact :). Is this normal?

Totally normal. How old is he? My 8 week old ds2 won't sleep for more than about 15 mins unless in contact with me constantly.
