My 5 week DD has just slept 5 hours solid. This seems strange. There must be a catch! Does this mean she will be awake all night?

How did last night go OP?

Ladypug · 11/12/2015 16:29

It was bad. Bad bad bad :-( only 3 hours sleep in total. Today hasn't been great either, I cracked at lunch time and gave her a dummy. She is now fast asleep. I really don't know how people do night after night of sleep deprivation, I feel physically ill :-(

I found with both mine it started turning around at about 7 weeks. I also went to bed at 8pm and made husband only bring baby up at 12 when he came to bed once I stopped feeding (I mixed fed for six weeks, I woikdnhave gone longer but my body wouldn't.). It will get easier, not long to go just keep swimming.

Ladypug · 11/12/2015 23:01

Just keep swimming sounds good :-) I can do this!!!
