My DS (6months) has been asleep since 4.30 and is pretty fast asleep. He woke up a little bit at 5.30 but cried until I laid him flat so he could get back to sleep. His normal bedtime routine is 6.30 bath, lullaby, feed and sleep by 7. He has done this before in late afternoons and I have woken him up ahead of bedtime. Should I wake him up now or let him sleep?

I personally wouldn't let the last nap go past 5pm (for a 7pm bedtime). I hate waking a sleeping baby but in this case I would otherwise he might be up for the day at 4am!

Thanks starfish we did decide to wake him up! Like I say this has happened before but I try so hard to shift his naps earlier to coincide with a 7pm bedtime and he just fights it so much. He's now asleep so we'll just see what happens in the morning, he seems to wake up early regardless of naps/bedtime yawn.
