Slumber Bear - Any Good?

I have just sent out dh to fetch a slumber bear out of desperation for my sanity. Am I making a huge mistake - are these a waste of money?

I was always tempted to buy one too but decided against it. However with dd1 used the JayGee Babysoother Cd - worked a treat after a few tries but have to start when they're young - I think I started at 6 weeks. Husband hated it but helped me sleep train her (inadvertently) through the 45 min sleep cycle...
