3 month old awake time

How long can your 3 month olds stay awake? ds is 14 weeks today, sleeping well at night usually from 7pm to 6.30am with one short wake up for a feed. I've always worked on 1-1.5 hours awake time as he's always sleep. Now when I put him down after 1.5 most of the time he goes bonkers until I get him out so clearly isn't ready. I think I'm starting to miss his window- is 2 hours more appropriate at this age? Dd was a very sleepy baby so not a good guide

My dcs could only handle 1 hr to 1.25hrs of awake time at 3 months. So your awake times sound ok for that age. Is there a chance dc is struggling to go down due to overtiredness? How long are the naps in length? I only ask that as mine were short nappers so awake time was short too.

He's so inconsistent mint! Some naps are 45 mins and some are 3 hours. This morning went so badly that he ended up awake for 3 hours, didn't sleep between two feeds, then fed and slept for 3 and a bit hours till my dd woke him! He's been awake an hour now and has yawned and grizzled loads so I've just popped him back to bed and he's pretty close to dropping off. I can't figure him out at all

At night he's reliable, does a long stretch of up to 8-9 hours then does a feed and three more hours

My three month old can manage 1.5 hours tops really before becoming really ratty. He's not much of a sleeper though with frequent night wakes up so not sure if that would make a difference.

Mine isn't a sleeper at all and is happily awake for 3 hours between sleeps. Doesn't really start to get grumpy until 3.5 hours ish. She okay naps 3 times a day for 40 mins.

Mine could just about handle an hour.. 1hr 20 min was maximum/. As soon as he started whining and it wasn't hunger / boredom I would rock him to sleep. If I missed window he would fight it with all his might. It's all about picking up on those subtle cues I think.

At that age mine easily did 2-3 hours. I used to panic about it from reading about babies who slept all the time here but she was happy, alert and sleeping well at night.

Sounds like mine Rince, minus the sleeping well at night! She's always happy and smiley during the day so I'm not worried about the lack of daytime sleep.

If it makes you feel better the night time sleeping didn't last! (Yawns) Up twice last night and she's 18months now!
