Sleep consultant recommendation

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a sleep consultant - I'm
based in London.

I'm looking for someone who doesn't do controlled crying - I was persuaded to try that by a previous consultant for my DS as I was desperate but even the consultant agrees it hasn't worked. I therefore really don't want to do it again!

I know lots of people have previously recommended Ann Caird but she is booked up until the new year - and that seems a very long time away at this point!

Carol Mae Grassick. She is brilliant

I might be wrong but doesn't Carol Mae Grassick mainly use CC?

I worked with Happy Sleepers, based in London. One of their sleep consultants got DD from feeding to sleep to falling asleep in cot on her own, I just pop her in after a story, say night night and close the door. Amazing. It took six weeks using gradual changes cos I didn't want to do CC, but it worked.

Thanks both

May mow - looking at her website I wondered if Carol Mae Grassick used controlled crying too. I guess I can only enquire. Thank you for your recommendation as well, will take a look there

Yes there is crying involved with Carol's method but it's a gentle type of controlled crying. Generally issues are resolved in about 3 days. She's helped me, my sister and lots of our friends and she's very nice & kind.
Totally up to you if you want that kind of approach or a no-cry solution that takes a longer. It's a very personal thing.
Hope you get sorted soon
