5am wake ups and impending clocks change

Anyone else dreading this? DS (12m) wakes at 5ish every day and we bring him into our bed until 5.45ish before one of us gets up. He doesnt go back to sleep, we have to try and persuade him to chill out. All the stuff Ive read says that you should start putting them to bed slightly later in the run up to the clocks changing. Anyone done this? Is it just to ensure a predictable bedtime, to bring it back to the normal time? It doesnt matter what time he goes to sleep he always wakes at the same time.

Mine are up at 5am too. They are generally all over the place for a few days, then back on track.

My dd is 8 months and just started waking at 5:15 for the last week. Has anyone tried any methods to try and get them to sleep longer? I was thinking of trying wake to sleep?!

We found with DD that the clocks changing made her go two hours in the wrong direction! Great in Autumn. I'd wait and see what happens.
