Says Ds3 aged 4 days! He naps like a beauty all day then cluster feeds and refuses to sleep for more than about half an hour between midnight and 6am. I know he will grow out of it and am not wishing my time away but blimey I'm tired. And DH goes back to work next week (new job so no PL) leaving me with the other 2 DS's, ruling out the "sleep when the baby sleeps" mantra after 3pm when school finishes, not to mention the joy of 7am starts. Luckily I have a friend's recruited to do the school run for a bit so don't have to actually be presentable that early. Anyone else standing beside their own head and wanting a tiredness twin?!

Me me me!! God i forgot how relentless it is (have a 19 month old dd too!) Ds is 12 days old and sleeping all day, then fussing and searching for food all night but refusing to latch on for ages and pretty much staying awake most of the night. I am dreading dp going back to work later in the month and having them both in the day time feeling as tired as I do now. It will get better won't it? I've already introduced a formula feed as I just can't go on with no sleep, and need to believe that things will improve!!

No solutions here - my 13 week year old is still seeing night time as an opportunity to party :( I stupidly thought it would be better now. That said, she is an exception to the general rule - most babies have it figured out by now. Especially if they're ff, it seems (I'm ebf). I would say it's very early days though - you're just going to have to ride it through, newborn babies do not have regular and consistent sleep on their agenda!

PS I can't even imagine wanting a second DC right now - how the hell do you cope with 3?? Three months of sleep deprivation has put me right off...
