My 2.5yrold has started waking earlier and earlier everyday for the last 3 weeks. He woke this morning at 4.07am. He is happy to cuddle in bed for about 45mins but then wants to get up as is hungry. He doesn't always have a nap in the day - maybe 5 days a week. Sleeps for about an hour at 1. Is ready for bed at 7/7.30pm. For the last yr has slept for 11 hrs. Eats well. Started a nursery 3 days a week a month ago and his brother arrived in March. Could this be throwing him off? Help needed! Thanks

Can you try a banana or bowl of poridge just before bed so you know he has sent hungry at 4am, and then make things really boring when (if) he wakes. So no cuddles in bed. Leave him in his bed, and grab a spare duvet, and curl up in a corner of his room, so you can doze, but don't interact with him. Explain to him before hand what will happen.
He might also be ready to drop the nap.

I'd second giving him a snack before bed. Also leave loads of quiet toys and books on his bed for the morning. I leave sticker books on DS's bed.

Yep, later dinner. Do dinner at 6.30pm, in bed by 7.30pm. You can only expect 11/12 hrs from last meal imo. So 5pm dinner it's reasonable to expect hunger by 5am or before

Thanks will try giving him more food later on and see how we go.

If its happened in the last 3 weeks could it be getting colder which is waking him up, THEN he gets hungry once he's awake.
