How long should 18mo nap be?

I generally put my toddler down for a nap at 11am and let him sleep as long as he wants. Usually he does 1.5 - 2hrs but about twice a week or so he can do a 2hr 45min one and even then needs waking! He does still wake 2 - 3 times a night so I presumed be needed these long naps..... Cue last night...... He was awake from 12.30am until 3.30am! Didn't seem in pain or anything and was trying to sleep but just couldn't seem to settle. I thought maybe it was due to napping too long the day before? He does have nights when he can be awake for prolonged periods but usually down to teething.

Anyway, his long should I let him nap?

Mine is just coming up to 18mo. She naps 1pm-3pm generally. Bed time is 7pm and she wakes up around 6.30am.

Not sure there is a rule though, I think they find their own rhythm... But I'd aim for around 2hrs a daybook napping.

Mine sleeps roughly 2hrs sometime between 11.30 and 2.30. Sometimes it's nearer 1.5 hrs and v v occasionally over 2.
Bedtime is 7ish and she sleeps til about 7 7.15.
Well for now anyway. ??
