Establishing evening routibe

DD2 is 6mo and has always had erratic evening schedules so I'm trying to establish something better so she can eventually sleep in the same room as her 2yo sister.

Until now I gave her a feed about 1930 and she'd sleep in the living room, waking about nine and being awake for about an hour or so before I gave her a final feed around half ten/eleven. Ideally I want her to go down at half seven and be in our bedroom where her cot is so we can have evening to ourselves. I also thought the tv was possibly bothering her and disrupting her sleep so thought the quiet/dark of the room would help.

We've done this a couple of nights now and am still finding she's waking at about half nine and I have to feed her again (she'll cry for an hour or so if I don't) and then will settle again for another couple of hours then wake for a final feed.

My question is mainly, has anyone made a similar transition and how long did it take until the late evening feed was dropped? Obviously we're hoping for her to sleep at half seven and go through until her (normal) half four am feed.

DD1 slept from 8-8 from a really early age so we've not had to try and establish this evening schedule before

Any tips?
