Sleepyhead grand

Has anyone successfully transitioned from co sleeping with a 1 year old to co sleeping with a 1 year old in a sleepyhead grand? Or have most people who use the sleepyhead grand been using one since they were younger? Am so tempted to get one, but it seems expensive if it doesn't help sleep. Please share your experiences! Thank you!

We didn't co sleep our 10 month old ds but we did buy the Sleepyhead deluxe when he was 9 weeks old based on amazing reviews. He slept through for the first time that night - previously woke EVERY 1 - 2 hours. We purchased the Sleepyhead Grande when ds was around 6 months and it was a very smooth transition to cot and own room! I couldn't recommend them highly enough, a tad expensive for a glorified price of foam and cover but worth every penny!

Ps if you have a sicky baby, be sure to get a spare cover as they're not tumble dryer suitable so take a while to dry!

I was tempted by one when DD was younger, but couldn't justify the price. Then realised that it was very similar to the big pregnancy pillow thingy (the big long sausage ones that cost around £25) I was about to store away. I put into an elasticated cot sheet to secure it into roughly the same shape as the sleepyhead, popped it under her sheet and tried it just to see how it worked. She loved it!

We only got a couple of months use out of it before she didn't need or want it any more though, so I wouldn't have felt I'd got the money's worth out of the sleepyhead. If you have one it might be worth trying.
