sleeping woes

Hello everyone,

Just looking for a bit of a moan/ some advice/ to know I'm not the only one...

My lo is almost 8 month and has never slept through the night. We've had better patches where he's gone 5 hours but only ever for a couple of days. He is regularly up 3 or more times a night and whereas he used to go back to sleep after a feed he has started waking up fully and needing LOADS of help to get back to sleep. Its beginning to get me really down as I don't want to sleep train but am going back to work soon and some nights I'm getting just over 4 hours sleep ??

What drives me crazy is we have a lovely bed and nap routine and have done since birth!! He regularly self settles for naps and sleeps for over an hour am then 2 45 min-hour catnaps at lunch and early evening. I feed him to sleep -ish at night after his bath and story then take him into say goodnight and try to wake him a little before putting him down.

Just feel like I've tried everything and nothing has had any impact, tried more/ less naps in the day, later and earlier bedtimes, also tried him on formula but he spat it out ..that's a battle for another day!

What routines do your los have and did anything help them to sleep though?? Xx
