So after cutting out getting up in night to give juice, as dd kept waking more frequently, and was messing around during the night times. She's finally sleeping through from 7:15pm but has gone from 8am wake up to slowly 6am the last 4 mornings she's woke up 15mins earlier each time. When she wakes up she's so thirsty and guzzles down her milk and wants more. Any suggestions :) I know I can't have it all, but would at least like her to sleep till 6:30am. I know that if I have her milk in cot she would go straight back of to sleep for another hour or so but don't want to confuse her as she will start expecting drinks in the night again! x

Not sure on the drinks thing, could be just habit but maybe worth checking with the GP especially if shes guzzling it down?

That aside our son was the same with getting up before the sodding birds. We cut out day time naps, loads of exercise in the afternoon and bought a grow clock. It took a week or so but now he does the 7 to 7.

Let us know how it goes x

hi

she maybe to young for a gro clock but maybe worth a try? Theres a message board about them on mumsnet already.

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/sleep/1398296-gro-clocks-do-they-work-and-if-so-what-age (hope the link works). We bought one when DS was about 20 months never looked back.

could be just a phase though. not much hep though when your bloody knackered and feel like you've run a marathon by lunchtime x
