My dd is 17 months and has never regularly slept through Angry

She goes down fine, awake and always settles her self without any fuss at all.

She had started to wake about 2am every night so this week I've just left her to moan and she's gone back off on her. But the 5am waking is the problem. She just won't settle. I left her for 45 mins and she went from moaning to really angry and upset. I went in put her back down and she was fine until 7ish.

Any advice on how to crack that waking? Do I just leave her for longer and longer until she stops. She sounds so distressed Confused

Sorry, no advice just commiserations - my DS is coming up to 17mths and has probably slept through about 6 times! Usually wakes 3 times a night but last night it was every 2hrs due to starting with a cold. He also settles himself well at bedtime and settles pretty quickly in the night usually too. I'm starting to panic that I will be forever stuck with a child waking so much...... Everyone around me seem so refreshed and enjoying their kids and their lives then there is me going to bed at 8.30 just so I don't feel too much like the living dead the next day! I need sleeeeep....... (Sorry about the moan, not helpful I know!) Flowers

Doesn't help that I have a 6yr old who has to cope with zombie Mum every day too. I feel bad for him Sad
