DD2 is 10 weeks old and pretty much fills her moses basket so bought a cot and put it in our room. She absolutely hated it last night, screamed every time she went in it until I put her on her basket, then slept like a dream.

DD1 was also a big baby and transitioned into a cot with no.problems.

If anyone has any ideas on how to make her more comfortable in there I wouldbe grateful for your help!! Would rolled up towels under the sheet help do you think??

I would (and did) give up and co sleep

I'd happily do it, but my DP won't let me Sad she sleeps well in her moses, asleep at 9, feeds at 1 and 4 and then up at 7, so was hoping the cot would be the same but alas Confused

Could you try putting the Moses inside the cot at first as a transition maybe?

Hot water bottle and your duvet / pillows to give it your scent. Take the hot water bottle put 10 mins before baby goes in. Worked a treat with my now 12 week old who has been in cot all night every night (minus feeds obviously) for 3 weeks after a week of just giving up and co sleeping thinking she would never go in. Good luck

Basket inside cot for a few nights worked for us. You can also get an elaborate rolled-up-towel contraption called a Sleepyhead Grand or something that makes them feel snug.
