Hi there wondered what people's views were on Amber teething necklaces.
My 10 month old has 6 teeth so far but the current ones popping through seem to be bothering him lots more than the others did. Wondered if these necklaces helped.

Thanks

Don't make a difference, load of woo bollocks. So don't worry about it :) what does help are teething granules/powders, maybe give them a go?

BertrandRussell · 20/08/2015 09:24

How do you think they might help? What actual process would have to happen for them to help?

TheNumberfaker · 20/08/2015 09:28

Homeopathic teething powders are woo too!
Try some calpol and cuddles!

Homeopathic testing powders actually might help- because they are sugar. Nothing takes a baby/child's mind off something quite as well as sugar does..........

I think the sensation of having something grainy rubbed on their gums helps so teething powders can work to some extent. Nothing beats Bonjela and ibuprofen though! Haven't heard much good about Amber teething necklaces, sound great in theory but practically I don't think there's much in it.
