So, tonight bedtime with my 2 and a half year old consisted of :

''juice please mum... me wee wee and poo poo, toilet mum! ... dada! dada! ... bing! flop! coco! peppa! george! ... mum juuuuice! ... please mum ... bubbles? ... blue nums (cars) ? ... train! ... juice please mum ... ''

Repeat 27895 times....

Sleeping now much to his anger I'm sure!

Anyone else have a bedtime hater tonight?!

:)

I have found vodka, and Nutella and crackers, so it isn't healthy but it is all good.

Our 4 year old dd is the same, with "mummy/daddy I'll wait until you've had your tea."
Did has tea at 5 ish we eat about 7.30 ish, ideally after she is asleep, sometimes she will nod off on sofa, other times not. Tonight she was almost asleep as we finished tea, so carried her upstairs, toilet then bed 3 stories and sleep music, now fast off, but she is a lousy sleeper so we will be very lucky if we get through the night with out her expecting me in her room.

Hoping when she starts school in 4 weeks thing will get better.

20mo old here, 1.5h later he's finally asleep. He faffs about once in his cot but starts screaming bloody murder if I leave the room... Would gladly drink wine but pg with #2. Why on earth are we doing this again??!

carrot we are TTCing number 2, but the last few weeks have been so bloody awful (holiday, illness, teething) that I'm borderline hoping this month will be a BFN.

She's such a bad sleeper that I sometimes wonder if there's something medically wrong with her. But if it was silent reflux she would most likely have grown out of it by now, right?

DS is not a bad sleeper now, but bedtimes are just bloody awful. Can't remember last time we had a normal evening without sitting in the nursery for an hour plus. It looks like he's going through another bout of separation anxiety or something...
