We have had really shocking sleep for over a month with my 7mo.
Some friends have said their babies slept better when moved into their own room. Do you find this is true? Ours still with me as I can't face going back and forth so much.
Some also think a strict daytime routine helps with nighttime sleep- have you found that or not? Thanks. Am exhausted. Don't want to do crying methods though.

It definitely helped DD. She was disturbed by us by about 6 months. She stirred when we came to bed, she stirred when we rolled over in bed! I had a comfy chair in her room so if she did wake at night I could go in and feed her (was still BF) without really waking up myself.

Day time routine helped as well. I realised around that time that I missed her morning nap cues, she actually napped well from about 9 so I had to be organised enough to get her down. Then she napped better in the afternoon and went to bed better too.

With my 1st 2, sleeping in their own room definitely helped. I've never imposed nap routines with any of my DC, just watched for their sleep cues, they fell into their own routines.
