11mo DD - only sleep for an hour a day

I give her a morning nap and she only goes for 10 mins and then I give her a lunchtime nap and she's awake again after 50 mins. If I try and drop the morning nap she's going bonkers by 10am.

Anyone else had this?

Have got a 2.2 yr old dd as well who's just decided to drop all daytime naps. Why won't my kids sleep??????????

It's one of the laws of parenthood - how knackered you are is inversely proportional to how long your baby will sleep!!! Ds is on a sleep refusal day today so am ignoring him and mumsnetting instead

Oh pennies you could be me it's freaky, DD1 (2.4) has just about all but dropped her daytime naps, DD2 (10 months) is lucky to have an hour a day, the only one who wants a daytime nap in this house is me.

I'm trying the no cry sleep solution having very limited success with it though

pennies my dd is the same age and also not a day time sleeper. Ds is the same..he dropped his naps by 18mths and DD has just started to drop hers..however she does sleep all night so am just glad for that as Ds still wakes up and he is 3.1
