Ds is 15 weeks and up until a few days ago was a fairly happy and contented baby. Took a bit if time to settle at night but not too bad and would then sleep 6-9hr stretch. Well since Wednesday night he is fine up to the point of going in cot and then the screaming starts. Nothing will settle him. Won't take dummy, just screams more if I try. The only thing that will settle him is boob but as soon as I think about lying him down the screaming starts. Proper full on top of the lungs wake the neighbours screaming. It's taking until 12/1am to settle him. It's really upsetting and tiring, and I can't take many more nights like it. He's fine in the day. I don't know what to do. It's like colic but that doesn't start at this age surely?

Before this he didn't cry that much. It's so out of character. Any suggestions? It's getting me down after 4 nights, can't take many more like it.

Meant to say we've given gripe water and calpol which hasn't made any difference. Will take to docs on Monday if still bad but can't think what they'd do as he's absolutely fine in the day.

Reflux?

Look up the 4 month sleep regression. That is probably what it is.

It is tough but as small babies are changing so much all the time nothing is guaranteed constant and everything is a phase.

If he has no fever, isn't vomiting and otherwise seems fine I am guess with he is fine and just needs a few extra cuddles. Coffee will help get you through. Brew

Teeth? Is he dribbling or any other teething signs? Ashton and parsons teething granules are the best if he is. My 14 week old will scream when he's tired and over stimulated by the noise of my two year old, he calms down once we have a shower and bf.

Is he overtired maybe? How are naps in the day
