My baby has leg spasms when she tries to sleep.

This is a difficult one to explain as I can't upload a video. When my baby tries sleeping she tenses up her legs and bounces them up and down repetadly like she's having spasms. Her face is also dazed and its like she's in a trance. She does the same with her arms and her whole body tenses until she finally goes to sleep this can last a long time. I've never seen or heard of this before so I am really worried. Does anyone else's child do this or have they ever seen it before? Thank-you!!

How old is she and how long has she been doing this?

I don't know what it is, but I think anything seizure-ish should be checked out pretty quickly by a doctor. Take along any video you have.

Potentially epilepsy as often seizures occur before falling asleep...but you need to head straight to your GP tomorrow and get it checked out. Do not delay.

Go straight to the doctors tomorrow morning.
