Lack of sleep is part of being a Parent, sorry.
So I put a mattress ( stored under the cot ) and made myself comfy. You can liisten to some good programmes ( plays and stories) on Radio four extra through ear phones. I tried not to speak.
Don't think, damn, I am stuck in this bedroom and she won't go to sleep!
Think instead, I am going to settle down and listen to the radio and hopefully this will pass. ( it will pass, as every phase passes)
You can say sh sh Mummies here, and stroke her back if she yells.
There will be those who say just let her yell herself to sleep but I couldn't do that myself.
Every patient minute that I gave my children I got back in shedloads when they were older, as I tried my best to give them a happy secure childhood.
There are also carousels that you can attach to the ceiling that might help and soothing lullaby music as well.
Have the same routing every night. Bath, bed, story, kisses and lights out. But you probably do that anyway.
Sorry I wish there was an easy answer.
