Safe for 6 month baby to sleep on his tummy?

How safe is it for babies to sleep on their fronts? My son keeps rolling over onto his stomach during the night and I'm ever so paranoid about it. At the same I don't want to disturb him by moving him

If he's rolling I wouldn't stress about it tbh..

once they're rolling there's not a lot you can do to stop them...DD started rolling at 8 months, and has slept on her tummy since (i always put her down on her back though, but i'm barely at the door before she flips herself over)

I think its fine as long as LO can move their head from side to side up and down then it should be okay.

My LO never sleeps on back (even hospital midwife put her on her front after 2 days of no sleeping on back) but i brought the angelcare movement monitor which helps with being anxious (well i find it helps :) )

Thanks ladies, for the reassurance. I have a video monitor too for peace of mind :)

At least l know now I don't need to disturb him while he's sleeping
