16 week old waking up lots

He had a blissful period of sleeping from 8.30-3am then 7am, bah!

At the moment bedtime is around 8.30pm. He's quite easy to get to sleep, usually fed to sleep (FF). Then he's up about 10.30, needs to be soothed and gets fed the other wakings around 12.30, 3 (ALWAYS 3am on the dot!), last night 4.30 then up at 7.30.

He naps about 3 times a day but increasingly shorter I think.

He's on 150ml formula- should we increase that? He's 6kg, quite a mini baby.

Is this the sleep regression? Hunger? Used to waking up and being fed? Any wisdom appreciated!

check out '4 month sleep regression - oh. my. god' sounds similar to how it started for me!

Any signs if teething ? If not it's probably the regression. Fingers crossed it isn't

He's eating his fists a lot and dribbling but doesn't seem to be in pain.

Sounds like a regression, really hope it's short lived for you! We embraced co-sleeping for a few weeks to get us through those early hour wake ups which did help. We always put him to bed in his own cot first though at bedtime and then again after the 10.30pm feed.
