Confusing cot bed!!

Hi guys, im expecting my first baby in october. Ive just ordered him a cosatto luca cot bed but im so confused as to what size of mattress to buy to fit. The dimensions of the cot is 152x89, but the biggest mattress i can find is 140 by 70? Forgive me if im being really dumb but this is so confusing. Thanks guys!

Our cot is 145 x 76 but takes a 140 x 70 mattress as the extra cm is the bit that hold the mattress in. Does it say in the detailed specification what size mattress it should take (ours did so was easy).

Im buying it second hand so dont have a clue. I feel like crying im so confused lol!

Can you email coast to and ask what size mattress they recommend?

If it's bigger than standard then there are several companies online who will custom make non standard sized mattresses for a reasonable price.

Rang cosatto and they say the 140x70 mattress should fit. Should!!?? Does this company not know anything?lol this is really starting to wind me up

Looking at a picture online, it does look like a 140x70cm mattress will fit. I think the dimensions you have are the external ones including the frame. I would wait til it comes then measure the internal size - where the mattress will fit, and order one to fit.

Babymattressesonline are good for custom mattresses if its different to the standard.

140x70 is the standard cotbed size, BTW.
