Just that really. She is starting to become an unwanted form of contraception!
She is clingy and tearful lately after nearly 9 months of happily being dropped off at nursery.
4.30am on the dot the shenanigans start and she won't be settled back in her cot.
With work, it's too tiring to fight so we put her in our bed but I hate this and sleep very poorly.
Any advice?

Can you put her bed or a mattress on the floor next to your bed? Then she is next to you but not actually in your bed.

I could try this but I am not sure she will buy it. I say this because last night she literally slept in my arms and was holding my hand. Not sure where this level of separation anxiety has come from but it's brutal. It's worth a shot though, we have nothing to lose. Thanks for your reply.

Oh btw I'm probably not the best person to ask. Both ds's now 4 and 5 years old share our bed, we just upgraded bed from double to super king when eldest was born instead.

We like it though ( and only have one bedroom anyway so saves space!)

LOL Artandco I thought you were on my team!

I really do not like co-sleeping, I never have. I did my time while breastfeeding and I am just DONE. I love my bed and my sleep, I've been married nearly 8 years and only sometimes enjoy my DH cuddling up to me - I just want to be left alone when I am sleeping not fiddled with and my nose tapped with beep beep sounds like this morning. She needs to sleep in her cot. For my sake!
