Sleepyhead for 3 month old-deluxe or grande?

Hey, anyone got experience of sleepyhead? I'm thinking about getting one for my 3 month old, average size DS but looks like he may grow out of the deluxe quickly and its silly money. But would the grand be ineffective? Thanks in advance

I only have experience of the sleepyhead but I bloody loved it - it changed my life! my dd was wee though and was in it until 7 months

Hi my DD2 was fairly big for her age and was still in it till seven months - I just undid the bottom.

I also bought one on eBay because I wasn't sure about its "magic powers". It was good and I'm glad I bought it but it sadly did not make my daughter sleep through the night!

Can I ask if anyone has used the sleepyhead whilst co sleeping? As in the middle of the bed at the top rather than in a cot or co sleeper cot

Hey, thank you! I asked about this on FB and people told me to just roll up towels under his cot sheet. Is there a reason that's a sids risk but this isn't?

My DD loves her! She's almost five months and still in it but I guess not for much longer!
For the first few months I didn't use a Moses basket just had her next to me on her sleepyhead on the bed. It worked great! I then bought a swinging crib and the sleepyhead fits perfectly in it as a mattress! I love it as she'll sleep anywhere on it, so great for when she has a sleepover at my mum's. If I were you I'd probably go for the grand. Just as you'll get your money's worth long term! Like pp said sadly it doesn't help her sleep through it but it's better than her sleeping on me!!

The raised-cushion bit of the sleepyhead, that goes all round them, is very densely-stuffed so isn't at all soft and squashy (which would be a danger if the baby smooshed their face into it). Rolled up blankets under a sheet are much softer/squashier hence more risky.....

I used the sleepyhead next to us in our bed, it was a godsend, really easy to settle DS and was the only place he'd sleep other than on me!!

It's a hit so far! Sleeping very soundly next to me.
