Hi,
I have a beautiful healthy 10 month old daughter who wakes up every 2 or 3 hours in the night to bottle feed (formula). She falls asleep straightaway after feeding, but it's enough to wake me up and not have continuous sleep. I've read everywhere that a healthy 10 month old shouldn't get up to feed at night, that their day feeding should be good enough to last through the night, and to be honest, I'm really coming to a point where I need some hours of continuous sleep, 4 hours atleast I think. She goes through periods of good eating in the day, solids and formula but then goes back to mainly formula feeding and very less solids. I'm really confused whether she is really hungry at night or is it a habit that I've got her into? She falls asleep easily at bedtime and nap times, it's mainly the night feeds that have got me really tired. I've tried to dilute her milk but she gets up sooner, say in an hour and wants a bottle again. She doesn't fall asleep at the bottle, because I lift her back to her cot and put her down awake, and she falls asleep on her own. Can somebody please advise, I really would appreciate some help. Thanks in advance.
