8 week old suddenly unsettled

For the last 3 days my 8 week old has been crying most of the time when awake and is really unsettled at night.
He sleeps from 7-11pm then wants to sleep on me only. He's been so happy up till now.
Anyone else seen this?
Ideas to help him?

It could be a growth spurt? My lb around 7 weeks went through a growth spurt and became very clingy. After 5 days it passed.

Sounds like hunger from a growth spurt. could you feed more frequently though the day? Also make sure he gets enough daytime sleep - aim to get him to sleep 60-90 minutes after last waking.

Thanks.. Trying to feed as much as possible and get him to sleep when looks like he's getting sleepy.
Just wish my smiley baby was back Sad
