Early waking...

Help. My ds2 is 4 and has always been an early waker. As was ds1 who is now 8. Tbh he doesn't sleep long either but generally makes it 'til about 7 - if allowed to.

Ds2 has got particularly bad lately. It used to be 5.30 - 6.30, then it was increasingly after 6, but he has now reverted... but with the clock change it is between 4.30 and 5. I am shattered. he doesn't come to wake me but I hear him. We have started lifting him when we go to bed, to empty his bladder but it doesn't seem to make a difference. The worst thing is that he has started deliberately waking his brother (there is dd in between them, but he's not that interested in her) by walking in to his room and turning his light on. I just want to go and scream at him, but that would just wake everyone else. I have a jar, mercenary as hell, and when they are all quiet in the morning I put a pound in. When it's full I'll split it between them. If that ever happens. At the moment it's got £6 in it and that's been over about two months. He just doesn't care.
Any suggestions?

Does he know what time it is? Can you get something like a projection clock that shows the time digitally on his ceiling - if it starts with a 7 then he is allowed up!

And find something he does care about to take away if he gets up too early. Favourite toy, tv time, or something. Plus a more immediate reward if he stays in bed - choose a favourite breakfast cereal or something.

No advice but sympathies, my ds is a monster about early waking, my mum's only advice was "don't go into him" but as he won't sleep in a cot so can get out of the bedroom, this isn't very helpful.

there was an idea I read on here a little while ago that has worked for a friend of mine, she put some fairy lights on a timer in her lo's room and told her when the lights came on it was time to get up - she set the time for when her lo usually woke up in the morning (5.30) and then gradually put the time back (5-10 mins every couple of days) till eventually they came on around 7am, if her lo woke before that she would ask if the lights were on (of course they weren't ) and told her to go back to sleep as it wasn't time to get up. It took a while to get to 7am but it def worked.

my 15 month old daughter is now waking way too early since the clocks went back, any ideas??? please xxx

oh god, i need help too!!
ds1 has always been good sleepr, usually til 7.30/8 in the morning. ds2 also been great for 15 months, sleeping til 8 most days but for a month he has woken at 6ish and since the clocks went back it is now 5am. he then wakes up ds1 who won't go back to bed. consequently we are all knackered, moody, emotional and i am just so sick of it.
i kept putting ds2 back in bed today and leaving him to cry and he wailed for 2 hours so now i feel like a witch and neither of them slept at all.
please tell me it is a phase and all will go back to normal. so worried he will get into a habit of it and this will be how it is for ages!!
my sister reminds me that in a a few years they will be able to get up themselves, make breakfast and entertain themselves. roll on that time please.
making me feel like such a crap mother.
ds2 is teething but it dooes not bother him in the night at all, just at pissing five am. balls to it all!

Untterly Confused:
Can you possible put a new toy(s) next to the jar of money and tell them as soon as the jar is filled they or he can have to toy? It seems that the concept of money does not work.

Alternatively does he get enough sleep in total? Is it possible he might be too tired when he goes to sleep and maybe needs a 45 min nap in the a/noon?

What time does ds2 go to bed? Is it possible that he is ready to be put to bed a little later?
