DD is 20MO and it is taking up to 2hrs to go to sleep! Arghhhhhhh.

We've tried leaving it later to put her to bed, but same prob. DH and I trying to take it in turns but we're both tearing our hair out a bit.

She's not happy about getting dressed in the morning either at the moment Hmm so wondering about changing her routine to have bathtime in the morning.

Lost. Help.

I can't say it's affected my 4 year old that much, but it's screwed with my sleep pattern. I am really struggling to get up in the mornings whilst DD is full of beans from dawn til dusk!

It's definitely affected my DS, he's slowly getting back to normal but it's killing me!

We're down to an hour tonight so a mild improvement. Today I was really solid with DD's routine (which has gone to pot a bit lately tbh). Nap at 12:30 (2hrs), then bed as near to 7 as poss. Will see tomorrow... Zzzz

Oh dear. A major setback tonight, DD took nearly 3hrs to settle :( DH attempted to leave the room and that was it. Poor thing was beside herself crying and would only settle being cuddled by Daddy Hmm

Any tips on getting a 20MO to settle wld be appreciated. HELP!

Perhaps a 2 hour nap is too long of you want a 7pm bedtime too? Try cutting it to 1.5 hours and see if it helps. I had to cut DD down to 1 hour by that age and 45 mins by 2, and completely by 2.2 to be able to keep my preferred early bedtime
