8 month old awful sleeper. Osteopath?

My 8 month old has always been dreadful at sleeping but now it's becoming every half hour that she wakes up at night. I've tried literally everything she is not hungry she is not cold etc she is just waking up and sometimes she doesn't even want a cuddle she's just waking up for the sake of it. She even continues to wake if she's in my bed. The health visitor suggested controlled crying but she just made herself sick so I then read the Elizabeth pantley no crying sleep solution which was going well but now we are back to square one again and I'm so tired! Has anyone else experienced this and has anyone else used an osteopath? As I feel this is my last option but I don't know if they are worth going to? Many thanks

I used a method called "wake to sleep". It worked for my DS, might be worth looking into?

We took ds at 3wks to the chiropractor (who I've used for years so was confident in her) and definitely noticed an improvement.
