Is tonight my chance??

DS is an early riser, 5.30/5.45 am.

Dinner is at 5pm, bed at 7. He sleeps through.

Is tonight my chance to shift his clock and hope for later waking? Do I need to change anything tonight?? Clocks changing has ALWAYS confused me!

TIA!

Erm I'd assume that he would wake up at 4.30am instead op!

This is my point exactly!! It confuses the hell out of me!

So do I need to put him down later tonight??

No. It should be 6:30. Tonight us your chance.

I used to love the clocks going back. Then I had children.

I had completely forgotten about the clocks going forward, thank you op!

They 'spring forward' don't they? So what was 5.30 will be 6.30. If you put him down at 8 tomorrow he will have been awake for the same length of time as normal, and might wake up at 6.30 on monday morning too?

Confused!!

So don't change bedtime, he should wake 6.30am. Got it.

And tomorrow night?? Earlier to bed?

I've been thinking about making bed 7.30 anyway... So perhaps 7pm tonight, and possibly a bit later tomorrow.

Should work. Yup.

yes later to bed tomorrow. Am also thinking of moving it to 7.30 means we can do a bit more with the lighter evenings.x
